About This Game:
Mayhem in Single Valley is a pixel-art action adventure following Jack, a young man whose plans to leave home are interrupted when disaster strikes his peaceful hometown. The surrounding area suddenly becomes filled with dangerous animals and strange events, leaving Jack caught in an unexpected local apocalypse.
The game mixes comedy with darker situations while sending Jack through forests, streets, buildings, and other locations around Single Valley. Platforming, environmental puzzles, item use, and encounters with mutated wildlife provide constant changes in activity.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore from an overhead and side-oriented perspective depending on the area while avoiding hazards and solving environmental challenges. Jack can collect and throw different objects, allowing food, tools, and other items to affect animals or interact with the surroundings.
Many situations reward figuring out what a creature wants rather than simply attacking it. New areas introduce additional hazards, puzzles, and movement challenges as Jack attempts to understand what happened to Single Valley and how it can be fixed.
