Monster Prom is a comedic dating simulation set at Spooky High, where the player has only a few weeks to convince one of several monster classmates to become their prom date. The cast includes demons, ghosts, vampires, merfolk, and other supernatural students with exaggerated personalities.
The game mixes relationship building with competitive multiplayer. Several players can pursue the same characters during one session, creating situations where improving your own chances may mean interfering with someone else’s plans.
How the Gameplay Works
Each turn, players choose locations around the school that improve statistics such as Charm, Creativity, Fun, Smarts, Money, and Boldness. Random events then present dialogue choices whose outcomes depend on the player’s stats or decision.
Building enough affection is not always sufficient because many characters have special requirements that must be discovered through repeated play. A large number of events, secret routes, and endings make unsuccessful prom attempts part of learning how the game works.
