About This Game:
Moonlighter is an action RPG about Will, a shopkeeper who dreams of becoming an adventurer. Near his village are mysterious ancient gates leading to dangerous dungeons filled with monsters, artifacts, and valuable items that can be sold back at his store.
The game divides Will’s life between exploring dangerous places and operating his business. Successful dungeon expeditions provide merchandise for the shop, while profitable sales provide money for better equipment, town improvements, and future adventures.
How the Gameplay Works
During dungeon exploration, players fight enemies in real time using melee and ranged weapons while collecting loot. Inventory space is limited, making it necessary to decide which items are worth keeping before attempting to return safely to town.
At the shop, players place items for sale and choose their prices while observing customer reactions to determine whether something is too expensive or surprisingly cheap. Profits can be used for weapon upgrades, equipment, and investments that help the village grow.
