Mortal Glory 2 is a turn-based tactical roguelike about managing a team of gladiators and sending them into deadly arena battles. Players recruit fighters, equip them, and build combinations around classes, traits, and abilities.

How the Gameplay Works
Players position gladiators on grid-based arenas, use attacks and skills, collect equipment, and decide how to develop the roster between fights.
Permadeath and random recruitment make every campaign different. Strong teams need complementary roles because losing a key fighter can force the player to rebuild the strategy. The progression becomes more engaging once turn-based gladiator tactics, roguelike campaign, and recruitable fighters begin to overlap. Early sections introduce them separately, but later challenges expect the player to combine those ideas more efficiently. equipment and abilities adds another consideration that can change priorities, so learning how the systems support one another becomes more useful than repeating the same early strategy. Most of the depth comes from understanding how turn-based gladiator tactics, roguelike campaign, and recruitable fighters fit together during normal play. Each feature can become more valuable in a different situation, and equipment and abilities gives later objectives another layer of difficulty. Adapting those systems to the current problem is usually more effective than following one rigid plan.
