About This Game:
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a medieval sandbox action RPG where players can rise from an unknown adventurer to a wealthy merchant, mercenary, noble, army commander, or ruler. The continent of Calradia is divided between competing kingdoms whose armies fight for settlements and territory even when the player chooses not to become directly involved.

The game combines character progression, trading, diplomacy, recruitment, politics, large-scale battles, and settlement management. Because the campaign continues dynamically, kingdoms can gain or lose territory, nobles can be captured, armies can be destroyed, and new wars can reshape the map throughout a playthrough.

How the Gameplay Works
Players travel across the campaign map with a growing party of soldiers while visiting towns, castles, and villages. Troops can be recruited and upgraded into stronger unit types, while money is earned through battles, quests, trading, workshops, tournaments, and other activities. Relationships with nobles can also influence political opportunities.

When armies meet, combat shifts into real-time battles where the player fights directly while commanding infantry, archers, cavalry, and other formations. Sieges allow attackers to use ladders, towers, battering rams, and artillery against fortified settlements. Successful characters can eventually become vassals, control fiefs, create armies, and establish their own kingdom.
