My Hero: One’s Justice 2 is a 3D arena fighting game based on the My Hero Academia anime and manga series. The game continues the story from the first My Hero: One’s Justice and features heroes, students, and villains from later parts of the series, including characters such as Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Mirio Togata, Overhaul, and many others. Battles recreate the exaggerated powers and destructive clashes of the series, with each fighter using their individual Quirk to control the arena in a different way.
The sequel expands the playable roster and adds new mechanics, stages, and character abilities while keeping the fast and accessible fighting style of the original. Players can experience story battles inspired by major anime events, compete against other players, complete missions, and customize characters with unlockable cosmetic items. The large variety of Quirks means matches can range from close-range brawls to projectile-heavy fights and highly mobile aerial battles.
How the Gameplay Works
Fights take place in 3D arenas where players can move freely around the environment while using normal attacks, Quirk-based techniques, counters, guards, and powerful special moves. Each character has a different set of abilities based on their powers from the series, giving fighters their own strengths, movement options, attack ranges, and combo possibilities. Many stages also include walls and environmental objects that can be damaged during battle.
Players can select Sidekicks before a match and call them into battle for temporary assistance, helping extend combos, interrupt opponents, or create openings for another attack. Plus Ultra moves act as powerful special techniques that can deal heavy damage when enough energy has been built up. Story Mode follows battles from both hero and villain perspectives, while Mission Mode, Arcade Mode, Free Battle, and online multiplayer provide additional ways to fight, practice, and unlock new content.
