However, to counter this, No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.’s Way utilizes respawning enemies more often than the original to encourage the player to complete the missions in a surreptitious manner. The game’s AI is designed with a Goal-Oriented Action Planning architecture where the enemies themselves have more control over the actions they perform.
