About This Game:
Odd Realm is a fantasy colony simulation where players lead a small group of settlers attempting to establish a permanent home in a procedurally generated world. Colonists need shelter, food, tools, workshops, storage, defenses, and a functioning production chain to survive over the long term.
The world extends vertically as well as horizontally, allowing settlements to be built above ground or carved deep underground. Different playable races introduce their own mechanics and change the way a successful colony develops.
How the Gameplay Works
Players designate areas for digging, construction, farming, crafting, storage, and other jobs while colonists perform tasks according to assigned priorities. Raw materials move through workshops to become tools, furniture, weapons, food, and building supplies.
Exploration can reveal useful resources as well as hostile creatures and other dangers. Population needs, work efficiency, available materials, and defensive preparation must all be balanced as the settlement grows larger.
