Only Up: BRAINROT TOGETHER is a multiplayer climbing and platforming game built around the simple goal of getting as high as possible without losing all of your progress to a badly timed fall. The route upward is filled with floating objects, narrow surfaces, unusual environments, and deliberately chaotic obstacles inspired by internet meme culture.
The experience can be played alone, but multiplayer turns the climb into a much less predictable challenge. Up to eight players can attempt the course together, and the game includes interactions that allow friends to interfere with each other’s progress. This creates a mixture of cooperative climbing, racing, trolling, and shared frustration whenever somebody falls from a difficult section.
How the Gameplay Works
Players jump and climb across a long sequence of platforms suspended increasingly high above the starting area. Careful movement matters because missing a landing can send the character falling through several previously completed sections. Learning the safest route and judging each jump correctly become more important as the climb continues.
Multiplayer sessions support groups of up to eight players, who can climb together or make life more difficult for one another using troll-focused interactions. The game also includes different ways to experience the course, including an Exploration Mode, while checkpoint and teleport-related systems provide additional options outside the stricter climbing challenge.
