Our Life: Beginnings & Always is a visual novel that follows the player character from childhood into adulthood while exploring their evolving relationship with the boy next door, Cove Holden. The story is designed around personal choice, allowing players to define their character’s personality, feelings, appearance, and relationship with Cove over many years.
Rather than pushing toward one fixed romance, the game allows the relationship to develop as friendship, affection, romance, or something more distant. Choices made during earlier stages are frequently remembered and reflected in later scenes.
