About This Game:
Outlast is a first-person survival horror game that follows investigative journalist Miles Upshur after he receives information about suspicious activity inside Mount Massive Asylum. Entering the remote facility alone, Miles quickly discovers that the institution has collapsed into violence and that the experiments conducted there involve something far more disturbing than ordinary medical research.
The asylum is filled with abandoned wards, security areas, underground facilities, damaged corridors, and hostile inhabitants. Miles carries a video camera throughout the investigation, recording important events while its night-vision function allows him to see in locations where darkness would otherwise make navigation almost impossible.
How the Gameplay Works
Miles cannot fight enemies with conventional weapons. When hostile characters discover him, survival depends on running, hiding inside lockers or beneath furniture, breaking line of sight, and finding another route through the environment.
The video camera’s night vision consumes batteries, forcing players to search rooms for replacements and decide when the extra visibility is necessary. Miles can climb, vault obstacles, squeeze through narrow openings, and use environmental hiding places while searching for documents and evidence that reveal what happened inside Mount Massive.

How to Install:
