About This Game:
Overload is a six-degrees-of-freedom first-person shooter created in the spirit of classic games such as Descent. Players pilot a heavily armed spacecraft through enclosed mines, industrial installations, and alien-controlled facilities where enemies can attack from every direction.

Because the ship can move and rotate freely in three dimensions, levels have no conventional floor or ceiling and frequently require players to navigate complex tunnels vertically as well as horizontally.

How the Gameplay Works
Players use thrusters to move forward, backward, sideways, up, and down while independently rotating the craft. Weapons include rapid-fire guns, energy weapons, missiles, and other offensive tools used against robots and defensive systems.

Levels include locked doors, switches, hidden upgrades, reactor objectives, and timed escapes. The campaign is supported by challenge modes and multiplayer battles that put the same unrestricted movement system into competitive arenas.
