About This Game:
Overland is a turn-based survival strategy game about a group attempting to cross a creature-infested United States. Every stop offers scarce fuel, equipment, possible survivors, and dangerous creatures, forcing players to decide what is worth risking before continuing west.

Procedural encounters and permanent consequences give each journey a different combination of characters, vehicles, supplies, and disasters.

How the Gameplay Works
Encounters take place on compact grids where every character has limited actions. Survivors can move, pick up objects, attack, distract creatures, refuel vehicles, rescue companions, or escape before the situation becomes impossible.

Noise can attract additional enemies, so avoiding combat is often safer than trying to eliminate everything. Between locations, players choose routes across the map while managing fuel and deciding which increasingly dangerous stops to investigate.
