Port Royale 2 is a Caribbean trading and strategy game set during the age of colonial competition. Players build a commercial empire by moving goods between ports, taking advantage of changing prices, establishing businesses, and eventually becoming involved in naval warfare and political conflicts between European powers.
The economy is driven by supply and demand, so profitable trade depends on understanding which settlements produce particular goods and where shortages are developing. Success can lead from operating a small merchant fleet to owning production chains, warehouses, convoys, and heavily armed ships.
How the Gameplay Works
