Pro Gymnast is a physics-based gymnastics and acrobatics game designed around directly controlling an athlete’s movement. It blends elements of gymnastics, parkour, trampoline routines, and obstacle courses into precision challenges where successful movement depends on timing and body control.
Rather than relying on canned trick animations, the game gives players considerable control over how the athlete rotates and moves through the air. This creates both realistic-looking successful routines and unpredictable crashes when timing goes wrong.
How the Gameplay Works
Players manipulate the athlete through jumps, swings, flips, rotations, and landings while navigating courses built from gymnastics equipment and obstacle-course structures. Momentum must be managed carefully because small control differences can significantly change the outcome of a movement.
Courses award medals for objectives such as completion, scores, times, or collectibles. A level editor allows players to construct their own challenges, while replay tools can be used to review successful routines or spectacular failures.
