Rebel Transmute is a 2D science-fiction metroidvania where players control Moon Mikono as she explores a dangerous alien world in search of her missing mother. The game combines ranged combat, exploration, upgrades, and large boss encounters.
New abilities and weapon modules allow Moon to reach previously inaccessible areas and adapt to different enemies.

Players run, jump, shoot, dodge, and explore interconnected regions filled with creatures, environmental hazards, and hidden upgrades. Weapon and ability choices can shape the build.
