Regiments is a real-time tactics game set in an alternate 1989 where the Cold War turns hot in Germany. Players command NATO or Warsaw Pact formations across large battlefields using tanks, mechanized infantry, artillery, reconnaissance, and air support.
The game avoids base building and focuses on operational combat. Units arrive as platoons or companies, and the player manages positioning, morale, supply, and combined-arms support.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move armored units, deploy infantry, call artillery strikes, use smoke, request aircraft, and capture objectives. Reconnaissance is important because enemy anti-tank weapons can destroy vehicles before they are spotted.
