Risk of Rain Returns is a rebuilt and expanded version of the original Risk of Rain, combining 2D action-platforming with roguelike item stacking and escalating difficulty. Players crash onto a hostile planet and fight through stages while searching for a teleporter.

How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, use character-specific attacks, collect items, activate shrines, and fight increasingly large enemy groups. Items stack without a strict limit, allowing powerful synergies.
Teleporter events summon heavy enemy waves and bosses before the route continues.
