Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is an action-adventure game that combines classic top-down dungeon exploration with roguelite elements. Players attempt to restore the land of Tasos after ancient Titans begin breaking free from the seals that once imprisoned them.
The adventure includes handcrafted overworld areas alongside procedurally assembled dungeons, creating a mixture of structured exploration and changing dungeon layouts. A village can also be rebuilt over time, providing new facilities and progression options.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight enemies in real time using melee weapons, ranged tools, bombs, and other equipment while solving puzzles and avoiding traps. Dungeon runs contain rooms, treasure, combat encounters, and bosses, with layouts changing between attempts.
Resources gathered during exploration can be used back in town to construct buildings and unlock improvements. Multiple character classes provide different abilities, and cooperative multiplayer allows several heroes to explore and fight together.
