Roulette Hero is a roguelike strategy game that replaces the usual card battlefield with a spinning roulette wheel packed with animal companions. Players build a growing collection of creatures, arrange them around the wheel, and rely on each spin to determine which parts of the current setup activate.
With numerous animals, upgrade cartridges, and playable characters to discover, the game is built around creating combinations that can turn random spins into increasingly reliable strategies. Different creatures interact in different ways, rewarding experimentation with placement and synergy instead of simply collecting the strongest unit available.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place animal tiles onto the roulette wheel before spinning it during encounters. Wherever the result lands determines which abilities activate, making the arrangement of the wheel an important strategic decision. Creatures with complementary effects can be positioned to create stronger chains and combinations.
New animals and power-up cartridges expand the possibilities over the course of a run. Different heroes also provide their own advantages, encouraging players to rebuild their strategy between attempts and find ways to control or benefit from the randomness of each spin.
