About This Game:
Samorost 2 is a short surreal point-and-click adventure following a small space gnome whose dog is kidnapped by mischievous aliens. The rescue attempt takes him away from his tiny home and across a collection of strange planets and mechanical locations inhabited by unusual creatures.
The game tells most of its story visually rather than through lengthy conversations. Detailed hand-crafted environments, strange machinery, expressive creatures, and atmospheric music create a quiet adventure built primarily around observation and experimentation.
How the Gameplay Works
Players click on objects and creatures in the environment to discover how they interact. Many puzzles involve triggering events in the correct sequence, operating strange machinery, or noticing small visual clues hidden in the scenery.
There is no traditional combat system or complicated inventory management. Progress comes from understanding each scene and discovering which parts of the environment can be manipulated. The enhanced PC version improves the graphics, save system, and interface while preserving the original adventure.
