About This Game:
Secret Agent HD is a modernized version of the classic DOS platformer Secret Agent. Players take the role of Agent 006½ and infiltrate enemy island fortresses filled with guards, hazards, security systems, locked areas, and important objects that must be destroyed.
The remake preserves the structure and style of the original while introducing updated presentation and additional content. Its levels emphasize exploration as much as jumping and shooting, with many stages requiring players to understand the environment before reaching the exit.
How the Gameplay Works
Players navigate side-scrolling levels while firing at enemies, climbing ladders, jumping between platforms, collecting ammunition, and searching rooms. Radar dishes must be destroyed before a level can be completed, forcing players to explore rather than simply rush to the exit.
Keys, doors, hazards, moving platforms, hidden passages, and environmental objects create puzzle-like navigation challenges. The HD release also expands the original adventure with additional levels and modern quality-of-life improvements.
