Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis continues the adventures of Nina Kalenkov and Max Gruber as a series of disasters and strange events become connected to an ancient secret society. What begins with Nina trying to take a vacation eventually grows into an international mystery involving religious prophecy and a group known as Puritas Cordis.
The investigation travels through several countries and allows both Nina and Max to become involved from different locations. Historical clues, modern conspiracies, and environmental puzzles drive the story forward.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore pre-rendered environments, speak with characters, collect items, and combine objects to solve puzzles. Many situations require using ordinary objects in creative ways rather than finding one obvious key for every locked route.
Control shifts between protagonists during parts of the story, providing different perspectives on the conspiracy. Dialogue and environmental clues gradually connect apparently unrelated disasters to Puritas Cordis and its larger plan.
