Star Defender 4 is a vertically scrolling space shooter where players pilot an armed spacecraft against large formations of alien enemies. The campaign is divided into numerous stages filled with incoming fighters, projectiles, larger enemy ships, and boss encounters that steadily increase the intensity of the action.
The game follows the straightforward style of classic shoot-’em-ups while providing weapon improvements and power-ups that make the player’s ship increasingly destructive. How the Gameplay Works

Larger enemies and bosses require sustained fire while avoiding dense projectile patterns. Losing a life can reduce the advantage gained from upgrades, making survival particularly important during later stages.
