About This Game:
Starbound is a 2D sandbox adventure that begins after the player’s home planet is destroyed. Traveling aboard a damaged starship, players explore procedurally generated planets filled with different biomes, settlements, alien creatures, dungeons, resources, and civilizations while gradually uncovering a larger galactic threat.

How the Gameplay Works
Players beam down to planets to mine blocks, gather materials, craft equipment, construct buildings, farm crops, complete quests, and fight enemies. The starship can travel to new planets once fueled, and progression unlocks improved armor, weapons, technology, and environmental protection. Players can also recruit crew members and establish colonies.
