About This Game:
Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in the war-damaged kingdom of Aldor. Players become a mercenary taking dangerous contracts across a hostile open world filled with bandits, undead creatures, wild animals, ancient ruins, settlements, and unpredictable encounters.
The game places strong emphasis on survival and character condition. Injuries affect individual body parts, pain can interfere with performance, and hunger, thirst, morale, intoxication, and other physical conditions must be considered alongside equipment and combat strength.
How the Gameplay Works
Every movement or action advances the turn, allowing players to carefully evaluate enemy positions before attacking. Weapons and skill trees provide different combat styles, including swords, axes, bows, magic, shields, and specialized combinations.
Outside combat, players travel between settlements, accept contracts, trade equipment, rest, repair gear, and explore dungeons or wilderness locations. Resources are limited, making preparation and retreat important parts of surviving longer expeditions.
