About This Game:
Tales of Kenzera™: ZAU is a 2.5D metroidvania inspired by African mythology and themes of grief. Players control Zau, a young shaman who journeys through a spiritual world to bargain with the God of Death.
The overall structure benefits from african-inspired mythology, 2.5d metroidvania, and sun and moon masks, which give players a clear sense of progress while still leaving room for experimentation. As more of the game opens up, those systems become more useful rather than fading into the background.
How the Gameplay Works
