About This Game:
Terra Invicta is a grand strategy game about humanity’s response to an alien arrival in the Solar System. Instead of uniting against the threat, seven ideological factions emerge with completely different ideas about what humanity should do, ranging from resistance and cooperation to exploitation or escape.
The campaign begins with political influence on Earth but eventually expands into orbital infrastructure, asteroid mining, space colonies, research programs, spacecraft construction, and full-scale fleet warfare. Decisions made on Earth directly affect how quickly a faction can establish itself beyond the planet.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control councilors who perform missions involving nations, organizations, intelligence, research, and political influence. Gaining control of powerful countries provides resources and launch capabilities that can be redirected toward the developing space economy.
Later, players design spacecraft, construct stations and colonies, mine extraterrestrial resources, and engage enemy fleets in tactical space battles. Orbital mechanics and realistic travel times make positioning important, while competing human factions remain active even as the alien conflict grows.
