The Enjenir is a physics-based medieval engineering sandbox where players build structures and machines, then use an intentionally clumsy character to test them. The game combines construction with humorous physical interaction.
Rather than snapping everything into predetermined solutions, players can experiment with beams, wheels, supports, ropes, and other components to solve objectives in creative ways.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct bridges, vehicles, platforms, and mechanisms, then directly control the character to climb, push, ride, or operate the creation. Physics determine whether the design survives.
Challenges provide goals, but there can be several possible solutions. Much of the fun comes from watching an ambitious design collapse and then adjusting it until it finally works. What keeps the experience varied is the connection between physics-based engineering, medieval construction sandbox, and bridges and machines. Each one solves a different problem, and later situations often require several of them to be used together. direct character control then provides another reason to adjust the current plan, especially when mistakes become harder to recover from.
