About This Game:
The Light Brigade is a virtual reality roguelike shooter set in a dark fantasy world where humanity’s remaining forces fight to restore light to a realm covered by corruption. Players join the Light Brigade and repeatedly venture into hostile territories filled with soldiers, supernatural enemies, traps, and powerful bosses.
The game combines realistic-feeling firearm handling with magical abilities and procedural runs. Different character classes begin with distinct weapons and equipment, encouraging players to experiment with multiple combat styles.
How the Gameplay Works
Weapons are manually aimed, reloaded, and operated using VR controls, making magazine changes and weapon handling important during firefights. Players move through procedurally assembled combat areas while using cover, collecting supplies, and searching for upgrades.
Cards and other upgrades strengthen the character during a run, while successful progress unlocks permanent improvements and additional classes. Death returns the player to the central hub before another expedition begins.
