About This Game:
The Pedestrian is a puzzle platformer where the playable character exists inside public signs, diagrams, and information boards placed throughout a three-dimensional city. Instead of moving only through one continuous level, players rearrange the signs themselves to create a usable path from one panel to another.
Its unusual presentation makes the surrounding city part of the visual backdrop while the actual puzzles remain inside flat sign surfaces. New mechanics are introduced gradually, building from simple door connections into more complicated arrangements involving switches, electricity, keys, and moving objects.
How the Gameplay Works
Players first reposition individual sign panels and connect matching doorways or ladders. Once the layout is ready, control shifts to the small pedestrian who runs and jumps through the newly created network.
Later puzzles combine movable boxes, locked doors, electrical systems, buttons, and other mechanics. Because the arrangement of signs can affect which objects can travel between panels, solving a puzzle often requires planning both the character’s route and the structure connecting the rooms.
