About This Game:
The Legend of Bum-bo is a turn-based puzzle RPG set in the strange world connected to The Binding of Isaac. Players control different versions of Bum-bo while traveling through cardboard-styled dungeons and fighting bizarre enemies using spells powered by matching symbols on a puzzle board.
Each playable character starts with different abilities and statistics, while collected items can dramatically change how a run develops. Randomized encounters and rewards give repeated attempts different combinations of spells, trinkets, and tactical options.
How the Gameplay Works
During a turn, players slide rows and columns of symbols to create matches. Different symbol types generate resources used for attacks, defensive moves, status effects, and character-specific spells.
Enemies respond after the player’s actions, making it important to plan several moves ahead and prevent dangerous attacks when possible. Bosses require stronger combinations of puzzle efficiency and spell use, while new characters and items provide additional strategies for future runs.
