About This Game:
Timelie is a stealth puzzle game about a young girl and a mysterious cat attempting to escape a strange facility filled with hostile machines. Its defining idea is that time itself can be manipulated, allowing the player to preview events before committing to a plan.
The story is told with minimal dialogue, using environments, animation, and the growing connection between the two characters to communicate what is happening. Puzzle rooms gradually introduce more complex patrols and interactions without turning into conventional combat.
How the Gameplay Works
Players can move backward and forward along a timeline to see where guards will patrol and whether a planned route will succeed. If the girl is detected, time can be rewound and a different sequence of movements can be attempted immediately.
The girl and cat have different capabilities and often need to act in separate areas while coordinating their timing. Solving later stages requires planning both characters’ actions together so switches, distractions, doors, and enemy patrols align correctly.
