Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD brings together redesigned stages inspired by several classic Tony Hawk games while updating them with sharper visuals and a modern presentation. Players can choose from professional skaters and return to recognizable locations built around ramps, rails, gaps, half-pipes, rooftops, and other objects that can be used to create long trick combinations.
The game returns to the score-driven structure of the earlier series entries, where each level contains several objectives that must be completed within a limited amount of time. High scores, collectibles, specific tricks, and hidden areas encourage players to repeatedly revisit stages while improving their routes and combinations.
How the Gameplay Works
Players perform ollies, grabs, flip tricks, grinds, manuals, and reverts while moving around each level. Linking different tricks together increases the combo multiplier, but falling before landing safely causes the entire combination to be lost.
Career objectives include reaching score targets, collecting letters, finding hidden items, completing specific gaps, and performing requested tricks. Successful runs unlock additional stages and progression, while multiplayer modes provide competitive challenges outside the main career.
