Star Wars: Battlefront II is a large-scale action game that lets players fight across famous Star Wars battlefields as soldiers from several different eras. Battles include the Galactic Republic, Separatists, Rebel Alliance, and Galactic Empire, with each faction offering its own infantry classes, weapons, vehicles, and specialized units.
The sequel expands on the original Battlefront with playable heroes, space battles, additional maps, and a story campaign following the 501st Legion. Locations range from planetary battlefields to capital ships, allowing the game to move between infantry combat, vehicle warfare, and starfighter engagements.
How the Gameplay Works
Ground battles revolve around capturing and defending command posts while reducing the opposing team’s reinforcements. Players choose different soldier classes such as riflemen, engineers, snipers, and heavy troops, then respawn as another class whenever the battlefield situation changes.
Vehicles and turrets provide additional firepower, while certain conditions allow powerful heroes or villains to enter the fight. Space battles place players inside starfighters and bombers, where they can attack enemy ships externally or land inside capital ships and destroy important systems on foot.
