Total War: WARHAMMER combines grand strategy with the Warhammer Fantasy setting, letting players command distinct races across a campaign map and lead massive armies in real-time battles.
Each faction has its own economy, units, leaders, monsters, magic, and campaign mechanics, making play styles differ far more than in many historical Total War games.
How the Gameplay Works
On the campaign map, players build settlements, recruit armies, research technology, manage diplomacy, and expand territory. Battles shift to real-time control of infantry, cavalry, artillery, monsters, heroes, and spellcasters.
Legendary Lords gain levels and equipment, while magic and flying units introduce battlefield options not found in historical entries.
