Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a side-scrolling puzzle-platforming adventure featuring Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief. The heroes search for Prince Selius while magical nightmares escape from his troubled dreams and spread across a colorful fantasy world.
Each character has abilities designed to interact with physics-based puzzles, allowing obstacles to be solved in several creative ways.
How the Gameplay Works
Amadeus conjures and moves objects, Pontius fights enemies and redirects forces with his shield, while Zoya uses arrows, ropes, and agility to reach difficult locations. Players switch between them in solo play according to the challenge ahead.
Cooperative play lets multiple players combine abilities simultaneously, often creating solutions impossible or unnecessary in solo mode. Combat encounters and boss fights appear alongside puzzles, while skill upgrades add new possibilities to each hero’s abilities.
