Two Point Hospital is a management simulation that puts players in charge of building and operating a growing network of unusual hospitals. Instead of treating ordinary illnesses, doctors deal with strange fictional conditions that often require equally ridiculous treatment machines. Behind the humor is a detailed management system involving staff, finances, patient flow, room layouts, and hospital reputation.
Each hospital introduces new problems to solve, from overcrowded corridors and poor hygiene to difficult environmental conditions and increasingly complicated diseases. Players gradually unlock additional rooms, equipment, decorations, and staff improvements while trying to meet objectives and earn higher hospital ratings.
How the Gameplay Works
Players begin with an empty building and construct reception areas, diagnosis rooms, treatment facilities, toilets, staff rooms, and other essential spaces. Patients move through the hospital according to their needs, so efficient layouts and enough trained employees are important for preventing long queues and failed treatments.
Doctors, nurses, assistants, and janitors can be hired, trained, promoted, and assigned to suitable jobs. Money earned from successful treatments can be reinvested into better facilities and expansions. Each scenario adds its own objectives and challenges, encouraging players to redesign their hospitals as patient numbers and medical requirements grow.
