About This Game:
Unruly Heroes is a colorful action platformer inspired by the Chinese legend Journey to the West. Four unlikely heroes set out to recover fragments of a sacred scroll after its destruction allows chaos and dangerous creatures to spread across the world.
Sanzang, Wukong, Kihong, and Sandmonk each have different weapons, movement skills, and combat abilities. The hand-drawn environments shift between forests, temples, dangerous caves, supernatural realms, and other imaginative locations.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, fight enemies, solve light environmental puzzles, and switch between available heroes. Character-specific abilities allow different approaches to platforming and combat, while cooperative play lets several people control separate heroes simultaneously.
Certain enemies can be possessed, temporarily giving players control of their bodies and abilities to solve puzzles or progress through a level. Boss encounters and fast platforming sequences provide larger challenges between normal combat sections.
