About This Game:
WARSAW is a tactical RPG set during the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. Players lead members of the Polish resistance through a desperate campaign against occupying German forces while trying to keep both individual fighters and the city’s districts alive for as long as possible.
Characters come from different backgrounds and possess individual skills, equipment, and personal stories. Death can permanently remove valuable fighters, making every mission a balance between achieving military goals and preserving the limited people and resources available to the resistance.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat is turn-based and uses two rows for each side, requiring players to position fighters where their weapons and abilities are effective. Attacks consume ammunition and other resources that may be difficult to replace.
Between missions, players manage equipment, treat injuries, recruit available fighters, and choose operations from the city map. District morale and resistance strength can deteriorate over time, placing constant pressure on strategic decisions throughout the uprising.
