Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a turn-based tactical game that places players in command of the Adeptus Mechanicus during an expedition into a Necron tomb world. Tech-Priests explore ancient ruins while competing objectives, awakening machines, and difficult decisions shape the progress of the campaign.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat takes place on grid-based battlefields where Tech-Priests and supporting troops use ranged weapons, melee attacks, abilities, and collected Cognition Points. Tech-Priests can be heavily customized with new weapons, implants, and disciplines between missions. Exploring tombs and choosing routes can provide rewards but also increase the Necron awakening level, creating pressure to complete the campaign efficiently.
