About This Game:
Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is an open-world vampire adventure set in the gothic medieval land of Sangavia. Players become Dragos, a survivor transformed into a vampire who awakens with much of his former strength gone. Rebuilding a ruined castle and restoring its ancient Castle Core becomes the beginning of a much larger attempt to establish a new vampire dominion.
Players can decide what kind of ruler Dragos becomes while exploring the surrounding world, hunting for blood, fighting the Inquisition, recruiting servants, crafting equipment, and expanding the castle. The adventure supports both solo play and cooperative sessions for as many as four players.
How the Gameplay Works
Exploration takes place across an open world where blood is needed to restore strength and feed the Castle Core. Providing the Core with enough blood opens access to additional regions hidden behind supernatural mist. Humans and animals can be hunted while resources gathered throughout Sangavia support crafting and castle development.
Villagers can become servants who help with jobs such as hunting, crafting, construction, and protecting the growing dominion. Dragos also develops vampire abilities through a skill tree and can switch between different forms or transform into a bat for aerial travel. Combat becomes increasingly dangerous as the Inquisition sends stronger holy warriors against the vampire’s expanding territory.
