About This Game:
Vangers is an unusual open-world vehicle game that combines driving, combat, trading, racing, and role-playing inside a surreal biomechanical universe. Players become Vangers, armored vehicle pilots traveling between strange worlds inhabited by mutated civilizations whose cultures and customs developed after a catastrophic experiment.
Rather than providing a straightforward sequence of missions, the game drops players into a confusing living world and expects them to gradually understand its rules. Different settlements offer jobs, goods, vehicles, and competitions, while hostile travelers and dangerous terrain make every journey unpredictable.
How the Gameplay Works
Players drive across deformable landscapes transporting goods and completing assignments between settlements. Trading provides money for equipment and better vehicles, while weapons can be mounted to defend against hostile Vangers encountered on the road.
Races and ritual competitions provide another route to advancement, but understanding local societies and completing unusual objectives is equally important. Vehicles differ in speed, durability, cargo capacity, and combat ability, encouraging players to select machines suited to the work they intend to perform.
