War Hospital is a management and survival strategy game set during World War I, placing players in charge of a British field hospital near the front. The objective is not to win battles directly but to keep wounded soldiers alive while supplies, staff, and time remain painfully limited.
Doctors, nurses, engineers, and support workers all have different roles. Every treatment decision competes for scarce medicine, beds, food, and manpower.
How the Gameplay Works
Players triage incoming casualties, assign medical staff, build or upgrade hospital facilities, manage resources, and decide which patients can receive treatment. Some wounded soldiers may need to be sent back to the front.
Campaign progression introduces heavier casualty waves and more difficult moral choices. Success depends on balancing immediate survival with long-term hospital efficiency, making the game as much about difficult prioritization as construction.
