About This Game:
Welcome to Doll Town is a third-person horror adventure set in an abandoned Japanese village once famous for handcrafted dolls. Years earlier, a tragedy involving local students helped turn the once-prosperous community into an empty collection of factories, schools, shrines, and dark streets where lifelike dolls now appear to move on their own.
Players follow Yumi, a student who accepts a part-time job at the town’s only remaining convenience store without realizing what happened there. As reality and dreams begin blending together, she becomes caught in a mystery involving the dead students, cursed dolls, and a disturbing love story connected to the town’s downfall.
How the Gameplay Works
Players guide Yumi from a third-person perspective while exploring abandoned streets, classrooms, industrial buildings, shrines, and increasingly strange locations. Important objects and environmental details provide clues about events that occurred before her arrival.
Exploration becomes more threatening as dolls and supernatural events begin appearing around the town. Players need to investigate carefully while determining which locations contain information needed to continue the story.
