Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is a detailed city-building and economic simulation focused on creating and operating a planned republic. Instead of simply placing buildings and waiting for income, players can manage production chains, workers, transportation, construction materials, utilities, imports, exports, and public services.
The simulation can be adjusted from relatively accessible management to an extremely demanding system where almost every resource and service must be physically produced, transported, and maintained by the player’s own infrastructure.
How the Gameplay Works
Players establish residential districts, factories, farms, mines, power systems, transport networks, and government services while ensuring workers can reach their jobs. Raw resources move through production chains before becoming construction materials, fuel, food, machinery, and other useful goods.
Advanced settings add realistic construction, seasons, heating, waste, vehicle fuel, electricity, water, sewage, maintenance, and other interconnected systems. Successful republics gradually reduce their dependence on imports by developing domestic industries and efficient logistics.
