WWE Legends of WrestleMania is a wrestling game built around famous performers and major WrestleMania moments from earlier eras of WWE history. The roster focuses on legendary wrestlers, classic arenas, signature entrances, and matchups intended to recreate the presentation of historic events.
The controls are more arcade-oriented than the main WWE simulation series of the time. Matches use simplified strikes, grapples, counters, and momentum-based sequences that make signature moves and finishers easy to recognize.
How the Gameplay Works
Players build momentum by successfully attacking, countering, and controlling the match. Grapple chains and timed inputs lead into stronger moves, while signatures and finishers become available after enough momentum has been earned.
WrestleMania Tour modes let players relive, rewrite, or redefine selected historical matches. Exhibition and multiplayer options provide custom pairings outside those scenarios, and certain versions allow roster interaction with WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 data.
