About This Game:
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a retro action-platformer created in the style of classic 8-bit games. The story follows demon hunter Zangetsu as he travels through cursed lands and encounters Miriam, Alfred, and Gebel, three other warriors whose abilities can become part of the journey.

Each character has different strengths and movement options, turning party composition into an important part of navigating stages. The game’s routes and eventual outcome can also change according to decisions involving the characters encountered along the way.

How the Gameplay Works
Zangetsu attacks with a sword, Miriam uses a whip and can slide, Alfred relies on magic, and Gebel can transform into a bat. Players can switch between recruited characters during levels and use their unique abilities to reach alternate routes.

Taking damage can eliminate an individual character while leaving the others available, making survival dependent on the remaining party. Boss encounters close each stage and require players to take advantage of each character’s strengths.
