Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is an arcade-style aerial combat game that presents a modern military conflict through fighter jets, attack helicopters, bombers, and other aircraft. The campaign follows several pilots and uses a more cinematic presentation than many earlier Ace Combat entries.
The game introduces close-range systems designed to create dramatic chases between aircraft. Dogfight Mode can lock the camera into a tighter pursuit, while Air Strike Mode helps line up attacks against groups of ground targets.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control speed, pitch, roll, yaw, missiles, guns, and special weapons while tracking targets in three-dimensional airspace. Different aircraft specialize in air superiority, ground attack, bombing, or support roles.
