About This Game:
Act of War: Direct Action is a modern military real-time strategy game built around a conflict involving conventional armed forces, terrorism, political instability, and a secretive organization known as the Consortium. The campaign follows Task Force TALON as it responds to attacks and increasingly dangerous military operations across several locations.

The game combines traditional RTS base construction and resource management with a cinematic military story. Infantry, armored vehicles, helicopters, aircraft, artillery, and specialized units can all become part of the player’s forces, allowing battles to grow from smaller engagements into large combined-arms conflicts.

How the Gameplay Works
Players construct bases, secure resources, produce military units, and expand their capabilities through new structures and technology. Different unit types have strengths and weaknesses, so infantry, armor, air support, and specialized forces need to be used together rather than relying on a single type of unit for every situation.

Campaign missions introduce objectives such as destroying enemy forces, rescuing hostages, securing important locations, capturing prisoners, and protecting key targets.
